Commencement: Day of Commencement

Commencement Breakfast & Rehearsal
3 GCC students at Commencement Breakfast GCC’s Student Life Office sponsors a Commencement breakfast for all graduating students. This is a fun and exciting day that celebrates “YOU”, the graduate. The morning festivities will begin at 9:00 am with a complimentary breakfast served in the Main Dining Room. Students will then see a beautifully coordinated DVD presentation sharing pictures from your time spent at GCC and have the opportunity to cast your vote for Teacher of the Year. Other important information pertaining to graduation will also be announced. Commencement rehearsal will immediately following the breakfast. Rehearsal is important and necessary to ensure a coordinated procession.

Commencement Assembly & Robing
Please arrive promptly at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 18 in the Instructional Center for the assembly of academic procession and robing. COMMENCEMENT WILL BEGIN PROMPTLY AT 6:00 p.m.

The Commencement Ceremony
COMMENCEMENT WILL BEGIN PROMPTLY AT 6:00 p.m. If there is inclement weather on May 18, Commencement will be held in the Physical Education Center. Admission will be by Rain Ticket only, due to limited seating capacity –two tickets per graduate. Please check the Commencement Website for updates.
