The Commencement Ceremony is normally held outside in the Plaza. In the case of inclement weather, the GCC Commencement Ceremony is moved from the Plaza into the gymnasium in the Physical Education Center. Due to limited seating capacity, admission to the gymnasium will be by RAIN ticket only. Graduates will be given two rain tickets to give to their special guests as a precautionary measure. If the gymnasium has reached its capacity, your guests may be diverted, for their own safety, to an alternate viewing area on GCC’s campus. | In the case of inclement weather, the Handicapped Parking area would be moved to Parking Lot C. All other parking availability would remain the same. |

| How many rain tickets will I receive for guests? Where do I get tickets? |
| Each graduate receives two rain tickets that can be picked up after April 11 in the College Bookstore. You must present a valid Photo ID and your Student ID number (i.e. - A12345678) when picking up rain tickets. |

| Are there extra rain tickets? |
| Only two tickets are allowed for each graduate. All guests who are not admitted in the gymnasium, will be diverted to alternate viewing areas on campus. |
